Startups Anonymous

9-bits:

StartupsAnonymous is a place for startup founders, employees and investors to candidly share their stories, ask/answer questions and vent.

Similar to the recent iOS hit, Secret, StartupsAnonymous shows that anonymity can be a powerful tool in allowing people to be open and authentic—a refreshing concept in a world of self-promotional social media. I highly recommend this blog to any aspiring or early-stage founders; it shows a side of startups rarely seen in the press.

Reintroducing Thingslog

We’ve been hard at work over the last couple months rethinking and rebuilding Thingslog from the ground up. We are also very excited to announce that we have partnered with Tumlbr and Thingslog is now available as a premium theme.

Personal, delightful, and practical these are just a few words we would use to describe this beautiful theme. With options for custom fonts, accent colors, and an assortment of 12 navigation bar colors the possibilities to create something unique are endless. We think it just might be the finest grid theme on Tumblr.

You can find it here.
Happy Tumbling!

So proud of our first premium tumblr theme.

These walls are funny. First you hate ‘em, then you get used to ‘em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them.

A rather mysterious cube rises up between the trees and neighboring Georgian houses of London’s peaceful De Beauvoir Town. The cube, designed by innovative architect David Adjaye, is clad in a cedar rainscreen, which is stained dark brown. Hemp insulation improves the acoustic performance of the structure while the solid timber frame boasts a significantly reduced carbon footprint. (Each cubic meter of timber saves almost one ton of carbon dioxide emissions, compared to the use of brick or concrete blocks.) Via Dwell.
